When you come to Niagara and find yourself driving through the Niagara Lakeshore sub-appellation you will find us at Hinterbrook focused on producing premium wines. While our primary focus is producing best quality wines we attempt to do so in a manner that produces a close to zero-carbon footprint. We realize that how we treat the environment is our legacy and we at Hinterbrook are doing our best to be responsible stewards.
To ensure we are starting with quality, our grapes are picked and sorted by hand, and treated gently with specialized equipment. We term ourselves a gravity winery on one level. Our wine-making team of Vines to Vintages, lead by multi award-winning Natalie Spytkowsky, then continues the process, producing wines that have already won many awards for us; twelve to date and counting!
